Trash and Recycling

Ordinance #73 (visit our ordinances section) requires mandatory recycling for all residents and businesses/manufacturers within Washington Township to recycle materials.

Recyclable materials can be comingled and collected curbside by your designated trash hauler.

Curbside Collection
Curbside Collections from your privately hired trash hauler:

Leaves are collected by the Township in the month of November.
Leaves as well as yard waste can be dropped off at the Township building Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 3:30PM.

Saturday drop off is available from April to November, 8AM to Noon.

Washington Township residents are free to choose there own trash and recycling hauler. All household are required to have regular trash and recycling pick up (Ordinance 74, Section 4).
